Voucher terms and conditions

1. Seller and scope

The seller and issuer of the voucher is Hermann Jansen GmbH & Co. KG, Rheiner Straße 43-45 + 55, 49809 Lingen, phone +49 591 800670, email [email protected] (“we”).

These terms apply to the purchase of gift vouchers on our website and to their redemption.

2. Voucher and price

You buy a gift voucher for a fixed amount in euros. You can choose €25, €50, €100, €150, €200, €250, €500 or €1,000, or an amount of your own between €5 and €1,000.

The purchase price equals the voucher value. There are no delivery costs or other fees.

3. Order and conclusion of the contract

Ordering takes four steps: choose the voucher; enter the value, your name and your email address (optionally also the name and email address of the person receiving the gift and a personal message); enter your card details; confirmation.

Until you click “Buy now”, you can check and correct your details using “Back”. By clicking it, you make a binding offer to buy the voucher. The contract is concluded as soon as the payment succeeds. We confirm the purchase immediately on the confirmation page and by email.

The language of the contract is German.

We store your order data. There is no customer account in which you could retrieve the order later. You receive these terms, the withdrawal information and the model withdrawal form with the confirmation email; you can view, save and print them on our website at any time.

4. Payment

You pay by credit or debit card via the payment provider Stripe. Your card is charged when you order. We do not store your card details on our servers.

5. Delivery

Once the payment has succeeded, we show the voucher code on the confirmation page and send you an email with the code and the voucher as a PDF file. Delivery is by email only; we do not send vouchers by post.

If you choose “Send as a gift” and enter the email address of the person receiving it, they get their own email with the code, the PDF and your personal message – right after payment or on the day you choose at checkout (from the next day up to twelve months ahead; sent in the morning). You always receive your confirmation with the voucher terms and the withdrawal information immediately.

If no email has arrived, please contact us and we will send the voucher again.

6. Redemption

You can redeem the voucher at our head office in Lingen (Rheiner Straße 43-45 + 55, 49809 Lingen) and at our branch in Haselünne-Eltern (Ringstraße 4, 49740 Haselünne-Eltern) for all services of the dealership.

Please show the voucher code when redeeming it, printed or on your smartphone. The voucher cannot be redeemed online, for example when booking an appointment on our website.

You can redeem several vouchers together.

7. Partial redemption and remaining balance

You can redeem the voucher in several steps. The unused amount remains available until the end of the validity period. If the invoice amount exceeds the balance, you pay the difference by another means of payment.

8. No cash payout

The voucher and any remaining balance are not paid out in cash. This does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal or refunds under section 11.

9. Validity

The voucher is valid until 31 December of the third year after the year of purchase. Example: a voucher bought in 2026 is valid until 31 December 2029. The expiry date is shown on the voucher. This period corresponds to the statutory limitation period (sections 195 and 199 of the German Civil Code, BGB).

10. Transfer, loss and theft

The voucher is transferable. We redeem it for anyone who presents the valid code.

Treat the code like cash. Please report loss or theft immediately. If you prove the purchase with the name and email address used for the order, we block the voucher and issue you a new voucher for the balance not yet redeemed. We are only liable for redemptions before your report if we are at fault.

11. Withdrawal and refunds

As a consumer you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. Details are set out in the withdrawal information: https://auto-jansen.de/en/voucher-withdrawal/. You can withdraw online using the “Withdraw from contract” button: https://auto-jansen.de/en/voucher-withdrawal/#widerrufen.

We refund using the same means of payment you used. The refund blocks the voucher; a partial refund reduces the balance by the refunded amount.

To the extent permitted by law, withdrawal is excluded once you have redeemed the voucher in full or in part.

12. Warranty

The statutory warranty rights apply.

13. Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
